About me
JC Fickenscher, is a 17-year-old racer from Davidson, North Carolina, JC Fickenscher found his passion for racing as a kid growing up going to NASCAR races with his family. At 14, JC decided to start a racing podcast, JC’s Garage, produced by PRN. As of September 2024, he has produced 90 episodes. JC’s love for racing grew further after he started his podcast, which sparked his drive to get on the track himself.
JC’s interest in racing led him to iRacing, where he could get behind the wheel of a race car on real tracks in real cars from his own room, using iRacing’s realistic simulation software. After an immense amount of time on the simulator, JC competed in his first competitive karting races at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2023. He not only placed 1st in both a 3-hour and 8-hour team endurance race, also setting the fastest lap in both events. Later in the year, JC competed in the Off Axis 500, a competitive karting race at Trackhouse Motorplex. These events ignited JC’s passion for being behind the wheel.
In May 2024, JC got his first shot at Legend Car Racing on the streets of Kannapolis, NC, in the Earnhardt Outdoors Showdown. JC placed 4th out of 10 in his first Legend Car event against notable drivers like Noah Gragson and Daniel Hemric. After proving his skills in a Legend Car, JC raced in the 2024 Summer Shootout series at Charlotte Motor Speedway. JC concluded the Summer Shootout series with 3 Wins, 3 Poles, and 2 top-5 finishes in the 10-race series. With 2025 being JC’s first competitive year in racing, he is looking to build a name for himself as a young, upcoming racer.
JC’s Garage is a NASCAR podcast where JC Fickenscher and David Styles discuss the latest news and varius NASCAR-related topics throughout the NASCAR season. JC started his podcast at the beginning of the 2022 NASCAR season and has hosted 90 episodes and counting.
